Peace

Divided, but Ilchi Lee reminds of unity

We gather and separate repeatedly. Through the division, there’s diversity. It makes the world beautiful. But Ilchi Lee reminds us that the division is not eternal separation. We go back to the one sometime later. Our brain is the tool to go back to the origin. That’s why Brain Education is important for improving our world and reminding us that we are all part of the same whole.

Beginning with yoga, suggests Ilchi Lee

There is nowhere to start but the beginning. There’s a saying that when we begin to do something, it’s half done already. We worry about our health, but it’s hard to start to do something good.

I want suggest starting a practice like Dahn yoga. Consistent practice is the best way to take care of our body and mind. I’m sure Ilchi Lee knew that when he created the practice.

Jewels from Ilchi Lee

Every jewel, which has a bright and beautiful light, has been hardened deep inside the earth. After enduring this hardship, it becomes more beautiful. Same as our soul, after we are tried in the furnace, we get stronger. Ichi Lee shows us how much stronger we can become.

Memories

Each of us knows some people who are suffering from bad memories. Perhaps they were hurt, or witnessed something terrible, or any of the other myriad reasons that we become scarred. Those memories are so painful that they can’t get away from them. I am reminded of Ilchi Lee’s training methods, which in many cases have helped people learn to overcome difficult memories and reclaim their emotional autonomy.

Flowers planted by Ilchi Lee

When the flowers bloom, the earth is filled with fragrance. When a flower blooms in the heart of a human being, the world is filled with peace. I believe that the Dahn Yoga programs developed by Ilchi Lee can make flowers bloom in human being’s hearts.

The Moon and Ilchi Lee

For centuries, human beings desired to get to the moon. We created different kinds of aircraft, and kept launching these physical manifestations of our dreams. Eventually, we succeeded in breaking our limitations, overcoming gravity, and showing ourselves that anything is possible. Ilchi Lee has been working to bring peace in this Earth, and has brought many hopes to fruition.

Ilchi Lee: Smile Symbol of Peace and Love

This is a message from Ilchi Lee. Do you feel love and peace in your heart? The love and peace in your heart are a source of healing.

Your heart will close to love and peace if you are fearful, lonely, and anxious. You cannot heal yourself or others with such a closed heart. As we live our lives, these emotions develop in us before we even realize it. There is a way to brush off that fear, loneliness, and anxiety.

Smile. The key is found within your smile. Your brain will change if you smile, not only with your face, but with your heart, as well. Oxygen is supplied to your brain the moment you do the movements involved in smiling. What’s important that smiling is tax-free. We can smile at any time.

When you’re anxious and fearful, put a smile on your face. Then the issues and problems you have will become very small. Smile once more, and they become even smaller. If you laugh hard once more, they will become so small that it will be difficult to confirm that they even exist.

If you laugh when you’re happy, your happiness will double; if you smile when you are peaceful, that peace will grow. If you continue to smile the person beside you will smile too and this happy contagion will spread. Your smile continues to give birth to other smiles. The smile is a symbol of peace and love. Smile a lot if you would have the love and interest of those around you. Then everything will take on a positive light and all of your problems will be easily solved.

We must smile a lot, no matter what and for no particular reason, for the sake of our souls, our happiness, and our neighbors. I want you to keep doing it until your soul is truly complete and happy. Then your soul will shine brilliant.

Ilchi Lee: Focus and Attachment (2)

When my focus and the brain’s focus become one, that concentration exhibits intense power. To accomplish this, we must overcome the power of the brain’s memory. This is impossible when we are caught up in our thoughts and memories. We are concentrating on our thoughts when we control the desires we experience using our thoughts. Only Cosmic Energy can overcome the power of the brain’s memory, that is, its instinct to pursue pleasure and avoid pain based on the memories its stores. When we concentrate on a big vision such as ‘I will live for all humanity’, our brains carry out that vision, use and accumulate Cosmic Energy. The actual vision for all humanity, not a vision of preconceptions and images, is a powerful energy line we can use to escape from the matrix of memory.

So we need to awaken the pure mind for all humanity existing inside of all human beings. That’s why we need to practice. Health, Happiness and Peace. That’s why Ilchi Lee has tried to develop an easy and effective training method for all humans, which is ‘Brain Wave Vibration’

Unity World Day of Prayer

“We are the peacemakers, one in the love of God.
With hearts united, we establish harmony and peace
in our lives and in the world.”

The goals of Brain Education are health, happiness, and peace for humanity and the earth. On September 13th, Unity Churches and Centers held the 14th Annual Unity World Day of Prayer during which they prayed together for peace. Several Dahn Yoga practitioners that I know also belong to a Unity Church. It’s touching to me to see various groups on the same mission. It’s the beginning of a Spiritual United Nations through Brain Education!

Brain As Center of Human Body

I was just poking around in Ilchi Lee’s official site, www.ilchilee.com and I was struck by this quote:

“Ilchi Lee understands the brain not simply as an organ, but as the center of the whole human body energy system. As such, a holistic approach to developing the brain’s full potential is deeply linked to any struggle for peace that understands individual development…His transcendent work is a constant inspiration, and I am deeply pleased to witness the increasing worldwide influence of Brain Education and its accompanying peace activities.”

Oscar Arias Sanchez, Nobel Peace Laureate

laughter as inspiration

Good morning again! I seem to find myself posting in the morning often. Today as I drank some delicious peach juice, I found myself wondering about the inspirational power of laughter. What do you think?

Buddha lessons?

I don’t know much about the Buddha. Does anyone else out there? I’d love to learn a little about him, but I don’t know where is a good place to start.

What’s your frequency?

When gou tune a radio dial, you think nothing of working through different degrees of the selector dial until you find a clear signal that contains content to which you want to listen. As Ilchi Lee says, “A signal reaches a radio or cell phone through the frequency of its carrier wave. Information is communicated by that frequency. It would be good, wouldn’t it, if you could draw into yourself the energy of health, happiness, and peace?”
So this begs the question: HOW do you adjust your frequency? He says, “Various frequencies and many kinds of information are found in the universe. They ultimately create who you are now. The way to draw into yourself the frequencies you want, ultimately, is found in your face.” (My face? Okaaaayyy….)

“Close your eyes and create in your mind a state in which no frequency at all enters. You’re obtaining stability of mind in this way. Feel the peace within that state. Next, focus on your lips. Create a happy energy as you form your mouth into a smile. And then bring your mind to your eyes, your nose, and your forehead. It is in such a face that peace dwells. It’s something you create. It’s free of any condition. The instant you create it, hormones are secreted in your brain.”

Hmmm. That actually sounds practical, like it would work. I’m going to try it now. Let me know what happens for you!

Questions at 25

As I reach the end of my first quarter century, I feel a need to pause for a moment’s reflection. In the grand scheme of things, I can see my development to this point — getting comfortably settled as a well-nurtured child, blooming as a talented student and recipient of many people’s love, and now deepening as a spiritual being with a bigger purpose in living. I can see more and more of the big picture — I’m not here on earth just to read fantasy fiction novels and enjoy myself. I’m here to grow myself and those around me, and to help humanity become a little more aware, to awaken from the dreamless stupor that history so devastatingly illustrates. When I look at the course of human history, I think, there has to be something deeper than this, something more meaningful. What are we here for, anyway? Why are we on this planet? I’ve begun to ask these questions for myself, and clarify my purpose in life little by little, but what about our global community? What is our higher purpose?

A while ago I read a great article (it was at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2092-2557653_2,00.html ) about Google Book Search and the digitizing of the world’s libraries. It is unclear how books will be read in the future, but someone at the New York Public Library thinks that readers will have the final say on that. The article’s author disagrees: “No, it is the teachers who will have the final say. They will determine whether people will read for information, knowledge or, ultimately, wisdom. If they fail and their pupils read only for information, then we are in deep trouble. For the net doesn’t educate and the mind must be primed to deal with its informational deluge. On that priming depends the future of civilization. How we handle the digitizing of the libraries will determine who we are to become.” This reminded me of something Ilchi Lee wrote about information in his book Peaceology for Healing Society: “Let us begin by awakening our dormant senses first. We do not lack for information. What we lack are the senses that should warn us of the gravity of the situation we are facing right now. When we have awakened these senses, we can begin the transformation. Let us all awaken the senses that will allow us to communicate with each other and with the Earth in a way that verbal language cannot.”
