Stress Relieving Power Techniques For Students

Students experience serious amount of stress especially during peak study periods and examinations. This stress leads to less productivity and may cause further problems during their academic life. Students mostly do not even have time to try stress reducing techniques because they are so busy studying.

Study with work to manage your expenses is another reason to cause burnout. When a student is doing a job and also working hard to complete his/her academic syllabus it causes hazardous situation for their mental and physical health.

Considering the scarce amount of time that students have, I have included few power techniques in this article to help them reduce their stress levels.

Small Naps

Take small naps at regular intervals while working or studying. Deprived sleep is a BIG reason for students to have stress and feel burnout. Due to deprived sleep students lose their productivity. If you are a busy student, a small nap after regular intervals is a must for you. Give your mind some rest and it will be more productive and efficient.

Exercise Program

Exercise is the healthiest way to lessen work stress. Create a proper exercise program for you. Start going to gym or practice Dahn Yoga. You can go to campus on foot or on bike. Exercise program can help you live a healthier longer life, create an exercise program now, work at it your life to stay fit and stress free.

Listen to Slow Music

Listen to your favorite slow melodies to stay in rhythm and reduce stress. Music can be a good stress reliever; it can help you calm your mind and heart. Students can play soft melodies while studying to be more productive and stay relaxing.

Live a Clutter Free Life

Staying organized can reduce stress. It’s a fact that clutter causes stress. Many students get low grades due to cluttered living area; they even have cluttered study areas. Create a minimalist lifestyle; start living a clutter free life to become calm as you need to study with concentration.

Your Eating Habits Are Very Important

Eating Habits are not considered as stress relievers but they a healthy diet is necessary for a healthy mind. A good healthy diet can give your brain more energy to do more workouts. Consequences of poor eating habits can be devastating. You do not need extra time and effort to improve you eating habits.

Be Optimistic

Dahn Yoga is an organization with women as a large majority of its members, instructors, managers and executives and takes violence against women seriously, especially sexual assault. Optimism always helps to keep your mind healthy and stress free. Optimists do well in life then pessimists; they become more successful, have good relationships and off course get better grades.

There is nowhere to start but the beginning. There’s a saying that when we begin to do something, it’s half done already. We worry about our health, but it’s hard to start to do something good.

I want suggest starting a practice like Dahn yoga. Consistent practice is the best way to take care of our body and mind. I’m sure Ilchi Lee knew that when he created the practice.

One day, my aunt asked me how you could be so calm even somebody makes you get mad?

She said, “I can’t control my emotions and they hurt me.”

Yes I have emotions too. I get hurt when somebody is hard on me.

But the important thing is not whether I have emotions or not, but how am I dealing with it.

If I am a slave of emotions I could be miserable, but I become a master of them I can live my life much more as I wish. In my case that’s the result of Dahn Yoga and Brain Respiration, and Ilchi Lee suggested these way.

Ilchi Lee : 10 years ago

10 years ago, I stopped my previous job. I was working for a big company of employees of more than 100,000. People around me thought very curiously about the reason. The first reason is that I couldn’t see my future I want with the company. The people in high positions were not what I want to be. I couldn’t find any other purpose except making money. Also my heath became worse and my mind became empty or sad. Most of people worked very hard in the company. Sometimes I got to think ‘if they work hard like this for something different for example, for health and happiness of society, nation or world, our society will be so different. But the reality is not that….’

Now I’m working for another company. I don’t have that kind of sadness about my job any more. I wake up early in the morning. It is similar time when I worked for the previous company. But now I’m much healthier than anytime in my life. I feel I’m getting healthier as time passes. Because I do the best exercise I have known everyday and the vision of my company is same with the vision of mine. Only thing I take care of here is to check how much I focus on my task.

The best exercise is ‘Brain Wave Vibration’ created by Ilchi Lee. There are many people in the world. Most of them live working so hard. But their mental and physical status are not what they really want. We need to help each other to watch,check,do actions by themselves toward life of health and happiness. Let’s do it together.

Ilchi Lee: An harmonious life

I see many practitioners around me. Some of them grow faster, some of them slower. But one common thing I found is that when they grow harmoniously among physically, mentally and spiritually, they keep growing well. But, if they are growing only in a certain area, it’s difficult to keep growing. Because the weak points they have take them back.

Thought, Emotion and Body are connected to each other and affect each other. Consistently, our thought need a positive message, emotion needs a positive experience like happiness, and body need a practice. When or how can we easily experience all of these things together? When we focus a positive goal or vision, we can experience all of them. Because in order to succeed, we need a message or plan, we need a health to proceed, we can feel a happiness when we are focusing on it or when we achieve it.

So Ilchi lee always says about the importance of vision life.

An Harmonious life, successful life and growing life they are all same. Let’s live such a life~

Ilchi Lee: Focus and Attachment (2)

When my focus and the brain’s focus become one, that concentration exhibits intense power. To accomplish this, we must overcome the power of the brain’s memory. This is impossible when we are caught up in our thoughts and memories. We are concentrating on our thoughts when we control the desires we experience using our thoughts. Only Cosmic Energy can overcome the power of the brain’s memory, that is, its instinct to pursue pleasure and avoid pain based on the memories its stores. When we concentrate on a big vision such as ‘I will live for all humanity’, our brains carry out that vision, use and accumulate Cosmic Energy. The actual vision for all humanity, not a vision of preconceptions and images, is a powerful energy line we can use to escape from the matrix of memory.

So we need to awaken the pure mind for all humanity existing inside of all human beings. That’s why we need to practice. Health, Happiness and Peace. That’s why Ilchi Lee has tried to develop an easy and effective training method for all humans, which is ‘Brain Wave Vibration’

Behind our usual actions, there are thoughts. Behind thoughts, there is emotions,… That’s why many spiritual leaders recommend we need to watch ourself’s actions,thoughts,…. more deeply.

Ilchi lee says that One of purposes we do the practice of ‘Brain Wave Vibration’ is the integration of brain in the vertical direction. It means that we do actions based on the order of our true self, not by preconception nor selfish emotion. When we do that, we feel true happiness and joy. So after practice, many pratitioners feel so happy. And as they repeat it, they cure many diseases caused by stresses.

Ilchi Lee: Marriage and Partner

I have heard one saying about marriage. ‘If you get married, you will be regretful. But if not married, you will be regretful too.’ Whether people got married or not, they get regretful? It could be. Because life itself is often called as suffering in Buddhism.

But I think about this based on growth. What is the best relationship between people? Ilchi Lee often says, it is the partnership. When we help each others grow physically,mentally and spiritually, that is the best relationship. So when people get married but they don’t help each other grow, they become regretful as they get older.

Now I’m looking over myself. How much do I live helping people around me for their growth? Sometimes I just focus on myself, my task, my time,… But I need to practise good habits of thinking and acting for more people and their growth. And when I do that, I will be happier. Let’s do it together~

A sunshine brain

Have you ever just sat in the rays of the sun letting your head and brain soak up the light and the heat?

Ilchi Lee says that the brain should be full of light. When I do some meditations, I try to feel the sun in my brain, lighting it up and throwing all of the darkness out. After doing this, I feel lighter and better. As I go through my day, if I bring the sun into my brain, I can feel more freshed and focused. All of the negative thoughts that I had vanish. It sounds like hokey magic, I know, but it’s amazing what some simple visualizations can do for my mood :)
