The human mind is capable of many achievements that most people are unaware of. It has the ability to transcend everyday experiences and perceive things that would generally be thought impossible.

In order to showcase the abilities of people who have attained this state, Ilchi Lee hosted the second Heightened Sensory Perception Olympiad in 2006. The event featured competitions among individuals who had taken their brain potential to the next level and achieved abilities in perception that are beyond the average person.

The event marked the second year that Ilchi Lee hosted the competition. The year before, 30,000 participants gathered in various locations throughout South Korea to show off their brain power and take their skills to the next level.

While the event was competitive in nature, it was not intended to carry the negative connotations that come with losing such a challenge. The day's competitions were conceived more as a showcase of the abilities of individuals who had challenged themselves to focus their minds on a specific goal and achieved positive results.

Ilchi Lee says that anyone can develop these types of skills when they put their mind and effort toward the goal. Everyone has tremendous brain potential.
