Stay fast to your core
We can all find something inside that we can hold onto…our core, our center line. We try holding onto many things for safety and security. But then inevitable change comes along and takes them away. But our center by definition is unchanging…it is the safest place…although the way there can be scary. Change is actually a great thing because it shows us and reminds us of what is not really our center. Stay fast to the thing that doesn’t change, and then you can watch all of the changes around it with equanimity and learn from them better because you can see them more clearly. We can see them more clearly because we are not attached to them

Yes, master. I will stay fast to my core as the inevitable changes your cult brings to my life materialize. I realize now the role your mastery over my weak mind plays in my life. Educate my brain. Teach me, that I too may play a gigantic flute at a sunset photo-shoot in the high desert.

In a world of negativity and change and with a personality or ego of limits and change, it is not easy to get in touch and stay in contact with the positive, powerful and unchanging world of the soul. But it is worth training for, every day!
